Microblading typically lasts 12 to 18 months, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. Touch-up sessions are recommended at 6–8 weeks after your initial appointment, and annually to maintain optimal results.
Does microblading hurt?
Most clients describe the sensation as mild discomfort or a light scratching. We apply a topical numbing cream before and during the procedure to ensure your comfort throughout the entire treatment.
Who is a good candidate for microblading?
Microblading is ideal for those with thin or sparse brows, uneven brow shapes, or those who simply want to save time on daily makeup. It is not recommended for pregnant or nursing individuals, those with certain skin conditions, or clients on blood-thinning medications. A consultation will determine your suitability.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood-thinning medications 24 hours before your appointment. Do not wax, tweeze, or tint your brows for one week prior. If you are currently using Retin-A or undergoing chemical peels, please let us know during your consultation.
What aftercare is required?
Keep the area clean and dry for the first 24 hours. Apply the recommended aftercare ointment sparingly for 7–10 days. Avoid direct sun exposure, swimming, saunas, and heavy sweating for two weeks. Do not pick at any flaking skin — let it shed naturally for the best results.
